I loved the picture today. That is so cute, the way the turtle's smiling. I wish we could put Tristen's or Olivia's face in there instead. That would be a really great picture.
Olivia, did Caeser like his new Scooby dog dish? I think Penny still misses it, but she's getting over it. You need to write and tell us all about your adventures at the nature camp. How was the walk today? Did you wear a goofy hat?

That is one of those movies that wouldnt appeal to me unless I knew what it was about. Some guy at Ryans work told him about it and let him borrow the movie and I had to watch it. Glad I did though.

Well, my internet has been down for 3 days, no thanks to MSN. I have
been thinking it is some dumb password problem this whole time, so while I am
waiting on hold for 20 minutes at a time trying to get it straightened out I am
hating MSN more and more. Come to find out, it wasn't a password problem at all,
apparently I was behind on my bill. So I argue with them that in fact I am
automatically debited every month, they get me back online in 7-10 minutes where
I go to the account section of my account, and what do you know, it says account
current! SO I decide to get out some of my past bank statements, just to make
sure Im not wrong (as if) and sure enough, they are getting their $21.95 every
month. Long story short, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I HATE MSN!

[First part of message lost; please fill in, Grandma?] r you. As you know I lead a pretty dull life. However, I made a homemade Butterscotch Pie for supper tonight. When I tasted it, it was very good. So then I put meringue on top and browned it; when it finished browning, it was looking great!! But taking it out of the oven wasn't so good. The aluminum foil pan bent in the middle spilling the contents onto the oven door. Consequently, there will be no dessert for supper tonight. It was a hot sticky mess to clean up. So that was my project for today. I also trimmed the hedge in the back yard. So, Fazoli's might be the dinner of choice. Not one of my best days. Just thought you'd want to know. Keep those newsy items coming, Linz.

I'm all moved in to my new office -- mostly. We started moving out Wednesday morning, and by Friday afternoon everything was in the new building. We've still got to get all the computers and printers hooked up, put pictures on the walls, and other little details. Plus they're still doing touch-up painting inside and landscaping outside. But it's a nice building -- when it's all together I'll give you a tour! The old building is scheduled to be knocked down starting July 13.

I had to get a shot today for when you go into middle school. In April I had to get my MMR (which hurt) and then a Hepotitus B then in a month (which was today) I had to get my second Hepotitus B and then I get my last one in November (thank God) then I will be done for a while. I am tired from the shot. It liked drained all my energy so I am going to bed. Bye!

Hi! I just got done shampooing my carpet and we took everything out
so it has to dry and then we can vacuum it, then rag paint, and then move all my stuff in. We are thinking it will all be done by Tuesday at the latest but we are thinking Sunday night-Monday we will be done unless something happens that puts us back a day. I g2g bye!

Hi! We just got home from buying the chairails and I am going to paint them in a few minutes and we might start rag painting tomorrow but I am not for sure. I am almost done packing except for my clothes and things that I will need before then. I have a basketball game tonight, but Olivia's was canceled because of the rain. I g2g bye!

Well, tomorrow is moving day: Our offices are moving out of our old building (which will be demolished in a few weeks) and into the new building across the street. This afternoon I'll finish packing up my books and files, then the movers come in tomorrow morning and do all the hard work. Me? I'll be taking movies with a video camera. :-) Anyway, what this all means to you is that until I get my computer hooked up again in the new building, I won't be able to update this page throughout the day. I will be able to make updates from home at night, but during the day it will be iffy -- if you send in a review or newsletter item at 8 in the morning, it may not show up here until evening. Hopefully I will be all moved in and hooked up by the weekend. But ya never know!

Hi!! When my mom and I come to visit I'm going to have my hair red. I would do it blue but I would have to bleach my hair and I really don't want to do that. The weather has been okay but when its not nice out my work is really slow. I can't wait to come down!!!

I started my tap dance class yesterday. I was the only one in the class - so it was fun. I loved it!! My teacher let me borrow the tap shoes so I can practice at home :) tap, tap, tap, tap, tap........

Our A/C is fixed! It was AWFUL in here on Monday and made Ryan very crabby when he got home. They got here at 10:30 on Monday night and didnt leave until 12:30, but who cares it is fixed. Luckily nothing was major wrong with it, just dirty on the inside of the outside unit. Already last night we could tell a HUGE difference! What a relief!

Was a busy, fun week last week. Enjoyed having everybody around. Glad Ryan is home again, always miss him when he isn't here. Sasha had quite an adventure, she ventured out to the wild side and luckily kept out of too much trouble. Sounds like Linz is getting busy with the paint brush. Good job!!

I have a sore throat and I am stuffed up, could be bad allergies, but it isnt going away, so I wondered if anyone else was sick. Hey, Tristen is still waiting for pink hair to make her appearance. And Tristen thinks now that when she grows up she will dye her hair pink, but with sparkles, and then pierce her tongue... What have we started here?

Well, it's official. I'm a convict. I got put in doggie jail on Saturday night. I was staying at Caesars house and I jumped the fence. Caesar was yelling at me not to do it, but I couldn't resist. I got lucky and no one noticed how extra cute and nice I am and took me home, or that no one decided to hurt me. The warden picked me up at 11 on Saturday night when I was cruising around on foot in Ceasars neighborhood. I had to spend the night in a cold gated kennel with tons of yippy dogs yelping. No blanket, nothin. I didn't get picked up until 330 the next day! As soon as the jail lady opened the door I could hear my moms voice, I was saved! She was mad at me, I could tell, but she was also glad to see me. She said I better have learned my lesson. My dad comes home tomorrow from being gone on the long trip, he will be mad too, but I have such a cute face, they can't stay mad at me. I am home now, and I miss Caesar, but I bet he is mad at me too, and he doesn't think I'm too cute! Just nice to be in my backyard again...

I got a dresser to paint and I am finishing my desk tomorrow. We are
going to start taking things out of the room tomorrow and then the next day or the
day after that we might start painting the room, then when that dries we will take
everything down there and I will be set. I guess tomorrow or the next day we will
start packing my stuff to move down there. I gotta go, Bye!

Our local cable co. has gone digital and so we were given a free
package for 1 month with over 560 channels. Maybe you guys already enjoy such
luxury, but we were pretty impressed. It is so true what Bruce Springsteen said
though, 560 channels and there's nothin' on. Never Been Kissed is on nonstop.
We have had rain, rain, rain. Since April 1 we have had l7 inches of rain. Guess
what, it's pouring right now.

the repair guy is coming tomorrow. Sam got rained out of her job today because of

Yes, my game was in the old Northeast gym, where the temp was about 90 something.
The actual score was 11-10 but an easy mistake for a sports writer seeing as he heard about the game from a player. I made the last shot that would've won the game, but with about 10 seconds left Williams' Rookies (the name of the team we played) scored in the knick of time. Then with one second left, we shot it across the room and missed by a centimeter. Close game but you have to give the other team credit because they only had 5 players that had to
play the whole game and we had two people that could sub. Well, that's it for my game until

Hey everybody,
Erika, cool sleep over. I don't know anybody else that has slept on the field, and had the
team cook breakfast. That just doesn't happen!!!
Well after the Huskers had a tough time in Omaha, I returned to the sports scene in Lincoln.
Olivia and her Cubs took the field again Tuesday in a night game against the Astros. The cubs
and Astros battled out a tough 6 inning tie. (But I'm not sure, I think the cubs lost--nobody
really knew for sure??) But it was an entertaining game. Olivia Anderson played 1st base and
centerfield, and had two hits for two runs and 3 RBIs.
And after the game she told this reporter "I had my mean face on."
Across town, sister Lindsey Anderson was hitting the hardwood in a tough 12 to 11 loss to the Willams Cleaners team. Playing in the ancient Northeast Gym where temps were hovering at the centennial mark the Titans played tough with only 2 players on the bench. With only 60 seconds left to play wing Lindsey Anderson puts up what was the go ahead basket, only to have Willams Cleaners respond with their own last second shot to win the game. They may have won, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE NIGHT THEY PLAYED THE TITANS....

In addition to the lovely sunburn, my A/C went out in my house. I have
been staying in Lincoln while Ryan is gone but came home last night and it is 85 degrees downstairs and I cant imagine what upstairs. SO, now I am waiting for the maintenance people to come fix it, YUCK! Of all times...

I certainly did get sunburned! I was too worried about applying to Tristen that
my back got it BAD! I have never been burnt like this before. Thats what we get for being at
the pool for 3 hours in 102 degree weather! Tristen looks great though, and Livy got DARK,
BRTs.

Wow, we just had a tremendous thunderstorm. Weird colored sky and
lots of rain and lightning. Enough with the rain already!! Lindsey and Olivia are really the athletes. You go girls! Sam and Anna still have 2 more days of school, but its been ok. Erika, it must have been awesome to sleep and eat on the baseball field. You are so lucky. The poor squirrel that was in our chimney couldn't get out and he died down there. We all felt bad because we thought he had crawled out. Anyway, the chimney is repaired nicely and no more animals can intrude. Hey Paul, have a happy birthday.

On my cammping trip I had eggs, cinnamon rolls, and orange juise for breakfast.
I didn't sleep on the home plate, I was in the middle of the field. I don't know what movie
I saw, it was an old black and white movie about a baseball player named Babe Ruth or
something.

On Friday night I went to the Sioux City Explorers baseball game. I
went with my Girl Scout troop. After the game all the girl scouts got to put up tents and sleep on the field. We got to watch a movie from our tents on a giant screen. In the morning the baseball players made our breakfast. I am glad I went Friday and not on Saturday, because Saturday it rained and thundered. It was fun!

Hey Karens'? Are you guys only staying until Friday or Sat.?? Are you
coming when Marsha and Sam come?? N E way, I am going to the Renissance Fair
today at Iowa Western. I am probably going to get my hair done again. We are
probably going to see a jousting match AGAIN. We went last year and really liked it so we are going for a 2nd time. There is one in Lincoln somewhere, but the one at Iowa Western is better I think. Well, I gotta go, Bye! :)

Nothing much going on here. We have vistors, Amanda, Tristen and Sasha have come to
visit for a couple of days. Rainy weather, I'm ready for some sunshine... Marsha, did you get
the squirrel out of the house? Looking forward to your visit.
Had a big sports nite last nite. At 5:30 Linz started back to Basketball. Her new team starts
the season with a win. They really played well together, for their first game and all. Lindsey Anderson again turns in a tenacious defensive effort.
Olivia Anderson started her T-ball career last nite as well. A tough nite to follow however, as she was selected player of the week for her team the Cubs. After catching a fly ball
behind 2nd base (the only catch of the nite for both teams) and 3 RBI's she was selected as player of the week.
Go Titans and Cubs!

Our chimney cap on the fireplace became loose, so a pesky squirrel has been running up and down and making faces at us through the glass doors. It has
been driving the poor dog crazy. At first the squirrel was scared of us, but it soon got to the taunting stage. Chimney repair guy $$$$ is coming on Tuesday. Maybe I should have filed this one under Projects.

Why did Amanda ask if Olivia has eaten a runza yet? Lovely Sunday with no rain for a change! Still a little cool, but not so bad. Sam completed her first weekend of her first real job. She works at the concession stand at beautiful Lake Nokomis, about a mile from our house. First day was tough, but today was fun. We went to breakfast at a wonderful little restaurant on the way to the Walker Art Center. Hope Mom finds a new monitor soon. We have one in the attic that we can deliver in August if another one hasn't come through by then. Keep us posted. It is Gary's old one.

I only have 8 more days of school left. You are soooo lucky to be out
already!!! Last week I went to Xcel Energy Center to meet our E-Mentors. I saw a lot of cool stuff that they had and we had a really good lunch (egg rolls, fried rice, sloppy joes, spaghetti, fruit salad, make your own green salad, rolls and really big good soft cookies and Brownies). We got to eat in the executive meeting room with the nicest chairs. My E-Mentor is named Mary Jo. She is really nice and I had a good time with her. My trip to Washington D.C. is happening next fall. Thanks to those who have helped me!! We get to take the 5 day trip and go to Gettysburg. I'm so excited about it, I can't wait. My Dad and I am going to Colorado when Mom and Sam come to see you. I will miss seeing you guys this summer!
